Colorado Springs water comes from the far west. The water they get travels 200 miles just to get to Colorado Springs. The water is cleaned after time and time for everyone to be able to drink it. The water is very dirty. The water they drink comes from the sewer but also comes from the tap or were they usually get there water. All in all the water is clean and drinkable and just fine after it gets cleaned over and over. 75 % of water comes from over the divide to be drunk from Colorado springs.
Manitou springs has its own source. It runs differently compared to Colorado Springs. It runs of the sewer system of its own. At the same time it runs of Colorado Springs water gust to get the water the people drink. They get the same water Colorado Springs gets like the 75% of water Colorado Springs gets.

Water Activity
- What is the water cycle? The water cycle is a never ending cycle in which the water will go through and never end.
- Does the water cycle have a beginning or end? No because it is a circle. A circle has no beginning or end like other shapes. It goes through 5 fazes. Those are evaporation, condensation, precipitation, runoff, and groundwater and then it starts all over again.
- Starting with a puddle on a sunny day, describe how water might move through the water cycle and eventually fall back as rain. It will start to evaporate and the clouds form which is condensation finally it will rain which is precipitation.

Solar Power
Oscar's Questions to answer!!
1) What, specifically about your topic, are you going to research?
I am going to research on how solar power is better than electricity.
2) What conclusions did you come to? What do you recommend average citizens do to make a difference? Be specific. This is the main part of your assignment.
It can conserve the energy on earth and use the sun for energy instead of electricity. Less energy is used on earth and more use of the sun.
3) What would happen if, worst-case scenario, nobody listened to your recommendations?
It would use more electricity on the world instead of using the sun. Electricity would get more expensive if the world is running out. Which it wont for a very long time.
4) What would happen if, best-case scenario, everybody listened to your recommendations?
More energy from the sun and the earth would use less power from the world. Also it can conserve more energy and the world can last twice as long.

Water and its Properties
1a) What atoms make up a water molecule?
Water is made of 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom. This is H2O.
1b) Describe the electric charge on each end of a water molecule?
The Hydrogen atom is+ and oxygen is -. They attract to each other because they are different charges.
1c) What causes water molecules to be attracted to one another?
An electric force pulls to each other and make the molecules attracted to one another. They are polar molecules.
2a) Name four unusual properties that water exhibits.
Those 4 are capillary action, surface tension, universal solvent, and specific heat.
2b) Briefly explain why water exhibits each property.
Each water exhibit is there to help explain or show what the water molecules and water can do.
2c)Oil is a nonpolar molecule. Would it dissolve in water? Why or why not?
No, because it was not polar molecule. Nonpolar don't dissolve well in water because they cant dissolve as well as polar molecules.
3a) What are the three states in which water exist on earth?
The three stages of which water is on earth is solid, liquid, and gas.
3b) Describe how water changes state as a patch of ice is heated by the sun?
It changes through boiling and evaporation, condensation also freezing and melting.
